Found A New (To Me) Book

I started reading a novel this morning, I found it in a virtual/online library and it really kept my interest. It was one part mystery, one part police procedural, and I will get back to reading it soon. I was advised once that the best writers are avid readers first, and I can see the logic in that. I might review it on my niche review blog later, haven’t yet decided fully.

Pepper Peach Mixed Soft Drink

Hello Dear Ones,

I hope you all are having a great morning or evening, depending which part of the world you reside in. Everyone on the planet likes to enjoy a refreshing drink when they are thirsty, so I thought I’d share one with you.

Instructions:

Start with one small bottle or can of original flavor Dr. Pepper, your choice of caffeinated or not.

Don’t drink it immediately!

Pour it in a glass, then add a splash of sugar free Torani peach syrup and stir well.

Add ice or refrigerate if you would like it chilled.

As a final touch (optional) you may add a whipped cream. There are whipped cream toppings created with sugar substitutes if you’d rather those over regular.

Serve.

Good Morning, & Notes On Dr. Ben Carson

I am having one of my best mornings! I have been watching a biopic of Dr. Ben Carson (a neurosurgeon) and I’ve found it very inspirational. @ some future date, I might publish a full review of it.

Some of what I found inspirational was his determination to succeed despite immense challenges. Early in his life, he thought he was dumb/stupid, etc., but he developed a thirst for knowledge, nurtured by his mother, that was unending, and that served him well (obviously).

He is also a strong man of Christian faith, from what I gathered, and I admire that immensely.
